The club installed CellarControl in February 2013, to treat 12 tap beers.

  • Objective

To conduct beer quality testing on its tap beers, four years following installation of CellarControl to maintain beer quality and reduce line cleaning costs. The venue conducts line cleaning every six weeks.

  • Solution

Bacterial testing was conducted at Lone Pine Tavern in April 2017. Testing was conducted by ALS Food and Pharmaceutical.

  • Testing overview

Tests conducted by ALS Food & Pharmaceutical on 4 beers – Carlton Draught, Tooheys New, VB and Carlton Dry. Beer samples were taken at six weeks following a beer line clean and tested for wild yeast and lactic acid counts. The lower these counts, the better the beer quality.
